Happy Father’s Day!
Growing up, Joseph was his father Jacob’s favorite son. This did not sit well with his brothers and they sold him to become a slave in Egypt. Through a series of events (God’s sovereignty), Joseph became an extremely powerful ruler over all the land -second to Pharaoh. In a time of great famine, Joseph has mercy on his brothers and reconciles with them through the power of faith and forgiveness from God.
